Someone sent me a club link but I can't open it

Clubs can be private, or not published at all while the owner is still setting them up. Either way they are only visible to the owner, so the link will not open for you — and a club that has been deleted behaves the same way.

Ask whoever sent it to check the club is published and public, or to invite you. Support cannot grant access to a private club.
