What does it cost to use the marketplace?

Every action here is a blockchain transaction, and each one costs a network fee in POL — paid to Polygon, not to Creta. That includes approving, bidding, reclaiming a losing bid, listing, cancelling a listing, collecting proceeds, claiming a win, transferring and minting.

Fees move with how busy the network is, so the figure shown before you confirm is an estimate. They are usually small on Polygon, but they are never zero, and a step that fails still costs the fee.

The price of an item is separate and is paid in CRETA. Support cannot quote exchange rates, convert between the two, or advise on what anything is worth.
