What are CRETA and POL, and why do I need both?

• CRETA is the market's currency. Starting prices, bids and sales are all in CRETA.
• POL is Polygon's own coin. It pays the network fee on every Polygon transaction, including bids, claims, listings and transfers. The fee goes to the network, not to Creta.

A wallet with CRETA but no POL can view items but cannot bid. Keep a small amount of POL in the same account you bid from.
