What happens if I lose my wallet password or seed phrase?

Please read this before you create a wallet, not after.

The wallet in the launcher is non-custodial. The key is generated on your computer, encrypted there with your password, and never sent to us. We do not hold a copy, and there is no reset: if you lose the seed phrase, nobody — including Creta — can recover that wallet or anything in it.

So when the app shows you the seed phrase, write it down on paper and keep it somewhere safe and private. Not a screenshot, not a chat message, not a note synced to the cloud.

And the rule that follows from it: nobody at Creta will ever ask for your seed phrase, your private key or your wallet password. Anyone who does — in a DM, an email, a support chat, anywhere — is trying to rob you, whatever badge they appear to have.
