Why do I have to confirm my email before signing in?
A Creta account can hold purchases, points and a connected wallet, and the email address is how you get back into it if you lose your password. Confirming the address once proves it really reaches you — so a typo, or someone signing up with an address that is not theirs, is caught before anything of value is attached to the account.
Until the address is confirmed, signing in is refused with a message asking you to verify your email. Re-open the sign-in window, enter the same address, and you will be taken to the code screen where you can request a fresh code.
Google and Apple sign-ins skip this step: those providers have already confirmed the address for us.
