Someone is offering me a deal or asking for my account details

Treat it as a scam. In a community app the standard approaches are: a free NFT or POINT giveaway that needs you to “verify” your wallet, a moderator or “Creta staff” messaging you first, a club promising a return on a donation, and a link to a site that looks like Creta and asks you to sign in.

Three rules that cover almost all of it:

  • Nobody at Creta will ever ask for your password, a login code, a wallet recovery phrase or a private key.
  • Reach Creta by typing the address yourself, never through a link someone sent you.
  • Urgency is the attack. Anything demanding you act within minutes is trying to stop you checking.

Block them, report them, and if you think you gave something away, change your password immediately and tell us.
