Your seed phrase and keys are encrypted with your wallet password. The encryption is AES-GCM, with a key derived from your password over 100,000 rounds of PBKDF2. They are stored only in your phone's secure storage. Your password is never stored, which is why it cannot be recovered.
What leaves the phone:
- your public wallet address, sent to Creta's backend and our data providers to look up balances, NFTs, prices and history;
- transactions you approve, sent to the blockchain;
- if you are signed in, your account details and the address linked to your profile.
Your keys, seed phrase and password never leave the phone. The app does not track you or show ads. See the privacy policy, linked from Settings → About, for the full details.
