How do comments and replies work?

Comment on any post you can read in a club you have joined, and reply to other comments to keep a conversation together. The post's author is notified of a comment, and a commenter is notified of a reply to theirs.

Comments you have written are collected on your profile and, per club, under My Comments — useful for picking a conversation back up.
