Can I sign in with Google or Apple?

Yes. Continue with Google and Continue with Apple sit at the top of the sign-in window. Both create a full Creta account on first use — there is nothing else to fill in, and no email code to wait for.

Which one you see can depend on the platform you are on: Apple sign-in is offered where Apple supports it.

On the desktop app the provider opens in your normal browser and hands the session back to the app when you are done, so your saved logins and passkeys work as usual.
