The scanner says the code is not a wallet address

The scanner reads plain wallet addresses and standard payment QR codes. It does not read WalletConnect codes, website links, or ENS names such as name.eth.

If a code names a different network from the one you are on, the app warns you. It does not switch networks for you. Check the network before you send.
